In June 2020, the modernisation of the large Liestal heating network began. The dismantling and new construction work will be carried out in parallel, but coordinated in such a way that existing customers can rely on their convenient and practical heat supply throughout. With a total output of 19 megawatts, our two AGRO biomass boilers ensure that around 90 per cent of the energy used in the Liestal&#8217;s future large-scale district heating network will be renewable \u2013 exclusively wood from regional forests.
