Pfleiderer paper mill opts for CO2-neutral and gas-independent steam generation

Pfleiderer Teisnach is particularly well known for the production of special papers for technical applications. With alternative, sustainable fibre concepts and innovative barrier solutions, Pfleiderer offers forward-looking solutions as substitutes for plastic and composite packaging for customers all over the world.

This forward-looking attitude led the Pfleiderer paper mill in Teisnach to implement a sustainable and CO2-neutral energy supply in cooperation with the GETEC Group. The GETEC-GREEN-STEAM concept was used to realise this project. We are proud to have realised this concept with our innovative AGRO steam boiler system. The steam boiler, which is heated with waste wood and proportions of fresh wood, has a capacity of 22 t/h and is, of course, particularly innovative and efficient with our patented AGRO Efficiency Booster.

We are very pleased to be able to set sustainable and innovative standards for the substitution of fossil fuels and for independent energy supply in sectors such as the paper industry.
