The new wood-fired heating plant in Haller Solpark was officially inaugurated at the beginning of the summer. At the heart of the plant is a hot water boiler system supplied by AGRO with an output of 5,000 kW – naturally equipped with the AGRO Efficiency Booster. In future, the plant will cover around ten percent of the heating requirements in the district heating network of Schwäbisch Hall’s municipal utilities.
The new plant is an important step towards a completely renewable heat supply in the region. The heating plant not only reliably supplies households and businesses with renewable district heating, but also sends a strong signal for the heat transition. Schwäbisch Hall municipal utilities deliberately rely on short distances for fuel supply: the wood chips come exclusively from the region – including forest residues and material from landscape conservation. A newly built fuel storage facility directly on site ensures long-term supply.
We are delighted to have supplied a central element of this project with our plant system. As a reliable partner for renewable heating solutions, we support our customers from planning to commissioning. Projects like this show how innovative technology and regional responsibility can work together successfully.
