One of the most innovative biomass heating plants in the region is located in Eibiswald (AT). Nahwärme Eibiswald has been reliably supplying industrial and commercial enterprises as well as 320 private households with CO2-neutral, environmentally friendly heat for over 25 years. In addition, the modern heating plant is equipped with a 2500m² solar system. Nahwärme Eibiswald is thus the proud bearer of the klimaaktiv award for efficient heating plants.
The heating plant also has in-depth know-how in this area thanks to its many years of experience with Scottish Whisky. Thus, visitors to the heating plant not only benefit from decades of experience in the field of heat biomass, acquired over generations, but also get an insight into very refined biomass in the form of whisky.
It is a special honor for us to have convinced this modern biomass heating plant with our innovative boiler systems and with our decades of experience. And so the new AGRO biomass boiler plants with an output of 4000 kW and 800 kW were designed in a particularly innovative and efficient way: Both boiler plants were equipped with AGRO flue gas condensation and the patented AGRO Efficiency Booster. And this combination makes all the difference, giving our customers the best possible efficiency when using a wide range of fuels and outputs. The optimized use of flue gas condensation in combination with our boiler system and the AGRO Efficiency Booster opens up the possibility of raising the overall system efficiency to over 100 % (based on the lower heating value).
