Winterholz Sägewerk GmbH – founded in 1912 as a rural sawmill by the great-grandfather of the current owner family and today a modern and innovative company specialising in the production and processing of larch and Swiss stone pine at the Mühldorf/Mölltal site in Carinthia – has shown great courage in times of crisis and invested heavily in the expansion and conversion of its sawmill.
An AGRO biomass heating plant, two new drying chambers and two new steaming chambers were built. The biomass heating plant supplies the steaming plant and the drying chambers with energy and since November the heating plant has also been connected to the district heating network in Mühldorf and supplies the citizens with additional energy when needed.
We are proud that we were able to support Winterholz Sägewerk GmbH in the realisation of this project with our innovative AGRO technology.
