If you drive into Güssing in Burgenland, you can see the historic Güssing Castle towering in the distance. Today, the castle serves as a popular venue for events for the town’s residents and visitors.
The town’s heating supply is provided by the Güssing district heating company, among others. And it now also relies on AGRO. Our hot water boiler system was put into operation on site at the end of 2023.
The district heating network in Güssing covers around 38 kilometres. Around 75 per cent of customers are industrial, while the remaining 25 per cent or so are households and public facilities.
The biomass heating system is equipped with our AGRO Efficiency Booster. This enables optimum combustion control with the best possible efficiency for a wide range of fuels. Permanent fuel monitoring allows the combustion process to be controlled in a predictable manner, enabling the thermal utilisation of different and demanding fuels.
